Right. As some of you may know the coupe has been outta action since the engine blew up and before that the wheel came off. The front bumper was damaged as was the wing and sideskirt..... none of which are that noticeable.

Should i get a new bumper, or just plastic weld the one that i have the now? The wing is damaged under the bonnet (ie the part u cant see) but the whole unit has been knocked straight up. Should i replace this or repair? And can u repair fibreglass sideskirts, or do they need replaced?

Depends if you're planning on keeping the car. If so get it repaired properly. If not a bodge might surfice to sell it.

Oh im keeping it. So replace the wing and the sideskirt then? What about the bumper?

Yeh. Thats the problem i've got already. Slight colour variations from panel to panel. Im going to get a full respray at one point, but the bank book is a bit empty at the moment!!

I'd have took the Tipo broom yellow if it wasn't so rare..

I've seen a paint job repair on a broom yellow coupe.. it looked awful

I have a good guy whos done work on the car that no0one has ever noticed has been touched up so thats not a problem. I think your right custard. Maybe just realign the wing and the bonnet (which is sitting slightly higher) and then get a full respray on the whole car!

im always of the opinion if the paints not a 100% then a full respray is best if you can afford it.
my turbo has had previos work done where both sides were resprayed. keyed i guess.
but i wonder why the hell they didnt do the full car since a cinq isnt huge when your doing both sides

i think you should use this as a time to get the 360 front bumper, i think thats the nuts

get the bumper welded for the time being, knock the wing down etc etc so it looks normal, then when you win the lottery get a respray!! ul be too excited with the new engine wheels etc to worry bout the little things.

ive already told ya il T-cut the bit at the front, il give it a good polish, stick the new wheels and plates on.

worry bout these things when they start to annoy you.
