i live in Warrington and the cheapest petrol station ive found is ASDA westbrook and this is 96p a litre changes often!

now i took a trip out to southport last night and was amazed how many 'TEXICO' and other garages where selling fuel for as little as 89.9p a litre, i was gutted, as i had just filled up at my ASDA.

i then took a detour on the way home and went to liverpool via Bootle,then Kirby and finally to Walton. to see my cousin. even the fuel prices there i was seeing them for 91p a litre.

so i think in the future m taking a trip down to liverpool to fill my take up as i will be saving a couple of ppund each time!!.

how much is fuel around your local area?

and why do fuel prices vary so much in such a small amount of distance?

95.9 up here, its ridiculous, drive 13 miles down the road and its 93.9 and even further maybe 20 miles to scunthorpe and I think its 92.9.

EIT: if i drove 26 miles to york I could get super unleaded for 94.9p at sainsburys,

cheapest I can find is 95.9, but I have to use optimax and the cheapest I can find that at is 102.9 lol

91.9 for unleaded, add on around 6p a litre for optimax as that's what mine needs. prices might've changed a bit, i can't drive my car at the mo so havent been bothered.

im near scunthorpe and the average price round here is 96.9

I was told that at that massive tesco it was really cheap, haven't been though, doesn't justify the journey.

i wouldnt use supermarket fuel in my car anyway, unless it was that high octane tesco stuff

Super unleaded from Tesco is 98.9p a litre and at sainsburys 96.9 its a scandle I cant see why the price varies so much around the country except London of course higher cost of living

I found out that my local Shell was cheeper than Sainsburys

92.9p per litre tescos batley... ossm!

92.9 at me local asda and shell tescos got 97 octane at 97.9

92.9 at esso and 91.9 at asda

not used tesco fuel since it disagreed bigtime with the stilo

Yeah excellent site, handy when planning long trips, can see where either on my travel or destination cheapest fuel is

lowest price on petrolprices here for super 102.9...

i pay 100.9 at sainsburys, my local texaco dont do high octane and i hate the BP ultimate garbage

91.9 normally although there is one garage that charges 99.9 a litre.

Its annoying when you fill up and the litres go up with the pounds

It's 94.9 at Asda up here, 91.9 at Asda Stafford the other day. Country prices are up to 99.9 now Though you do get someone to pump the fuel for you

depressing when the pounds go up quicker than the litres

Mostly around Milton keynes is 94pence, but if you go out towards Buckingham the prices start to 98pence
