Its not the insurance thats the problem lol, its the price of a Stilo. I'd probs end up getting a Bravo 80 sx 1.2 16v 98>, and u can pick them up for around 1k.

My personal opinion is not to let a bag head make u change your car.

Re: Crack heads!

technically I'm a crackhead, got totally wasted earlier on some such smokable substance, then went to cinema and watched X3 (quite good, laughed most of the time as still wasted, then crashed the volvo in the multistorey car park (a few times)). then I built a nuclear bomb and threatened the world.

normally this would piss people off, but what really piss's me off is people that screw insurance companies over, I'm all for it, but I wouldn't do it, I have photos of everybit of my car (for dents, car parking arguments, ****s with knifes that key my car, people that want to nick my alpine, flatmate who has twice nicked my cigerette lighter etc etc), and so should you, I hope they find you, find you and burn you*

*joking mate, just don't be so open about it, and don't jack my premiums, its crippling me still even after driving for two years

Unfortunately, if they see something in any car worth getting, they'll try and get it.

Leaving the face in your stereo is the biggest error available to man, it's crying out for someone to have it. I found that out the harsh way with my old 106 when someone spotted my blackout head unit. Needless to say that was whipped off pretty sharpish.

There's a new celica that parks in my flat's carpark with the passenger door lock smashed in... if they think they want something inside they'll sure as hell try to get it.

It's a **** lesson to learn but do learn from it mate, there are things you can do to prevent people being such b*stards.

So I quickly shoved on some trousers and shoes and ran out but they had already gone!!
I felt like running after them but after examining the damage to my car I'm glad I didnt.
They had drilled the drivers side lock (obs not realising it had central locking), then bent the top half of the door away from the shell with a crowbar or something leaving a 3-4inch gap and then just ripping out the CD player which was a nice Kenwood flip down one!

I think it was planned anyways as my next door neighbour has told me twice in the last 2 months that a lad has walked in the street walked past my car looked in and walked back out of the street. So if it hadnt had been last night it would've been another night when i hadnt taken the face off my cd player.

Rang the insurance company as I'm a named driver on the car at the moment until its due for renewal so my insurance wont go through the roof and its 100 excess to get the door replaced, locks replaced and new stereo (which i told them was the model up from my old one ), but...they wont take it away until next week and my MOT retest has to be next week and Stanford Hall is coming up soon

So i'm not the happiest of people at the moment

But...advantages are...the drivers door was f****d anyways (anyone thats seen it will tell u), the drivers lock didnt always lock first time...and I'm gettin a better stereo. But i'd rather just not go through the hassle
my punto lock has just beeen drilled tonight! hate the pack of bastards and another bad point is my excess is 700 lmao how much is it for new locks does anyone know?
