Is anyone with on here with them.

I had a promotional email from them saying they will do roadside cover for £33 including free joint cover (worth £24)

I am currently with greenflag with my barclays account but i am hoping to move banks once i have paid my overdraft off.

Just wondered if its worth it? Seems a good price.

That does seem a good price I'm with green flag to you say road side cover but does that include recovery as well ?

Personal Based Membership, covers you as the driver, whether you're the driver or a passenger in any vehicle, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our patrols aim to reach you within 40 minutes and in 83% of breakdowns will fix your vehicle at the roadside (excluding extreme failures and accidents).

i dont think its recovery :(

We're with RAC; they've always been good.

When I worked at halfords we had an 807 that wouldnt start after one of our "We'll F***k it" fitters messed up a handsfree installation; we called RAC out (under the Peugeot warranty) and they had loads of diagnostic equipment and were really helpful (couldn't cure the problem but the body computer had gone mad).

Thats a good price Sammi, I'd go for it; I need to sort breakdown cover out in October when I'll be out of warranty and AA cover.

Not sure TBH. Its came "free" with my additions account with barclays. But as barclays are financially raping me. Then i am looking at alternatives.

Don't mention Barclay's [BOO HISS} bloody crooks[now just wait for the comments :p ] I'm with Zurich and I have the FULL breakdown package but they include this with the premium so I don't know how much I am paying and as my access is £200 more than my premium I'm thinking of looking else where next time around :)

Sammi knows about Barclays ;) :p
In their defence, they seem to have very good customer service at the end of the phone.
On the down side, their accounts aren't very competitive at all. (n) And their internet banking isn't very user friendly.

Best bank for personal current accounts seems to be Alliance & Leicester. 5% on credit balances, and 0% for 12 months on overdrafts*. 10% on a linked regular saver account too. I have a 0% £2000 overdraft with them (y) Plus if you open an account, and give them my account number, we get £25 each. (y)

will start to look into changing banks - i think i just got got stuck with them and couldnt be bothered to change. I have moved my loan and credit card with egg now cos they offer much better rates :)

If it was just roadside then i wouldnt bother - i own a fiat so i need to be towed

free aa cover with some tsb accounts
There's a £7 per month account fee though, so it'd cost you £84 a year. You'd be better off spending the £66 cost of the cover, then keeping the extra £18 for yourself :)

Are you trying to get me to sign over H I've an overdraft on my currant account and never used it the cheeky buggers sent me a platinum credit card THAT I never asked for so I took it down to them at the bank and made them cut it up in front of me and apologise for their cheek (n)

You know things are getting serious when you get joint RAC cover! ;)

Phil, perhaps they gave you a platinum card to match your beard?! ;) :p
Many banks will send you an application form for a credit card (I get loads!), but I've not come across any which have actually sent the card out without asking. I would have thought you'd have to sign a credit agreement for that.
