well this is the moped i want, an automatic gilera runner 70cc, he said its just had the engine rebuilt with all uprated parts. its V reg.

he wants 1500 pounds.

its also had body modifications too, including a full respray not long ago done at a bmw factory.

is it worth it? thanks people who know about mopeds lol

personally, i wudnt spend tht sort of cash on a moped? and engine rebuild b'cos he blew the first up???? I fink tht wud tell you something about how its been treated alone.....

honestly just save your cash for a car, or towards insurance and get a punto GT, cos u'll never get back what you paid for that hairblow dryer, i mean moped lol

Just save the money for a car IMO.

Ps - Doesnt matter bout cc lol, I had a Suzuki Katana bored out to 60cc, de-restricted & sport exhaust, no-one ever knows unless its declared on the V5.

its 50cc on the paper work and im 15 so im not actually allowed any moped yet

My sister has a Gilera DNA for sale. It is about 2 years old, 2500 miles on the clock and effectively in as new condition. I think she is looking for £2k. Having said that it is a 125cc.

No moped is worth £1500.

Buy a moped for £300, then when you stack it you won't loose a load of money.

A £300 moped will always be worth near £300, a £1500 moped will soon be worth £750.

Get something cheap, build your no claims, then you might realise that cars are crap and motorbikes are cool.

if you crash and hurt someone or are seen to be going too fast for a 50cc they will take it away and check the cc, no ped is worth £1500 get a blooming good car for that.

I think I paid £1500 all in for mine and it was brand new. And when it was stolen a year later, the insurance co reckoned it was still worth £1500 ... bonus

well it's all a matter of context, anyone who'd pay £1500 for it maybe the kind of person who'd pay more than 99p for an old blue and white un..........oh yeah right inner voice again........

For an extra £300 you could get a 16vt turbo coupe in mint condition!!
