okay so i went to tax the non turbo cinq
now it has a new mot
insured in my flatmates name
was registered in my name but is changing as we speak

now i went to the PO with
the mot,insurance and renewal letter(in my name) and was told no go
so had to get the change of owner slip.

on my way back i was thnking does it matter who is the registered keeper for road tax?
its registered to someone
its mot'd
its insurerd

does the registered keeper have to be the insurered party?

red tape eh, I can understand why but it's annoying all the same.

when i asked the PO if i could use jamies log book and my insurance to tax the cinq they said i couldnt as the names never matched

had to get section 10 from log book and V10 form in order to do it

not as if i was trying to avoid paying tax

yeah i just dont see the point.
the checks are in place to check mot and insurance is in place.
the cars even staying at the same address.i dont know oyu try to stay legal..............

I haven't had this problem but then again although the first names do not match the sir names and address do so I have a reason at least
