I use e-bay a hell of alot, probably 3 purchases or more a week so ive been expecting this to happen for donkeys yrs!:(
My 6yr old autistic son had some money for easter cos he dont like chocolate, i took him on E-bay so he could pick a ps2 game as i know it will keep him occupied for hours on end.(y)
I paid by paypal as usual within minutes of the auction ending.Yet despite me sending 4 E-mails, the last one with a deadline to get in touch with me they havent.(n) So for the first time ever ive just left negative F/B and even tho ive done nothing wrong i just know im going to get negative F/B in return and imo that aint right:bang: . FFS E-Bay even try their hardest to talk you out of it but im not having any of that.
The most upsetting thing is tho, that i now have to try and explain to Joshua that even though hes paid his money he wont be getting his game:cry: and hes been so patient waiting for the postman everyday while hes on holiday.:slayer:
Some people really, really PI*S me off:bang: :bang: :bang: and i hope the seller :tosser: :tosser: dies a long, lonely, painfull death!! SOON!!!

Is the sellers FB score ok? No probs in the past? could be on holiday or something?

easter was only last weekend wasnt it
Well read - missed that bit

If so, personally I wouldn't have left negative f/b at this time, and therefore jeopardise my own f/b. I would have explored other avenues, and given the seller a chance to put things right.

you got to give people at least 14 days imo. some people work same hours that post office is open so find it hard to post straigh away

4 Messages asking for a respone of any kind is plenty of time imo they dont find it hard to trade and info says post WITHIN 1 working day, Ive bought stuff days after this transaction and already recieved it.
Its not a hard task to respond to a message especially if youre tradingduring this time!!

What if the trader only has access to the NET via an Internet Cafe?

What if the trader can only use his NET at off peak times and has been working late shifts and then been too tired to go online?

What if the trader has had a catastrophic PC failure and cannot get in contact with you because his town does not have an Internet Cafe?

What if the trader posted the Item already and its at the Post Office cause the Postman didn't want to get out the van cause it was raining?

what if aye.... what if.

all very well and good but then the trader has had 2 weeks and states post next working day.
if they come back with a genuine reason then the feedback can be withdrawn but how long do you wait as they could be scamming other ebayers if they are still selling

oh yeah and do you think posties get vans to deliver PS2 games?

I left my first negative feedabck as well on one of my last auctions, bidding ona badge and never paid, gave them a week and countless email reminders and nothing, so left them neg feedback. they have been inactive on ebay since so i think they have died or summat :p

Well Ebay is a funny place, I have been buying and selling for a wee while now and have found that other Ebayers vision of how Ebay works is a fair bit different from mines.

My mate had a similar thing just last week, over two weeks and no item but he is new to Ebay and bad negged the seller without contact so he got bad neg back, not the way to go in my book.

Matt there is likely a reasonable explaination and the feedback could be removed with mutual decisions from yourself and the seller.

Keep us posted!

The first almost bad experience I had with eBAy was with my first purchase of a £200 Mobile phone (Samsung x600) from Germany.

I paid and the bugger never arrived when it was supposed to. I emailed the fella in Both English and German (Translater) who's English was better then my German and didn't get immediate responses, he explained to me that the nearest computer to him was in the next town as he lived in what was effectively the country side.

Before I left Neg Feedback I filed a complaint against him within the 10 or 13 day period with eBay and Paypal so if anything did happen I would get my money back, I explained to him that it was just a formality incase he did genuinely send it and it was lost in the post etc.

In the end he helped me track it and it turned out it was in the Post Depot next to where I work as the postmen in my area have a tendancy not to leave delivery cards or even bother getting out the van.

It might be an honest mistake, then again... what if you were scammed?

What if aye.... what if.
