happened saturday night my car was parked across the road from my mates house, was inside and my mates dad and uncle come back from pub, was chatting with them in the kitchen for a while, then my mates uncle said bye and was going home, about a minute later my car alarm was going off (clifford concept 650) so i popped my head out the door and seen my mates uncle walking away from the car, as the back end of my car was facing me it looked fine so just thought hed got too close to my car and set the proximity sensors off.

went back inside and my mate told me to check my car as he knows what his unlce is like when pissed so i went out to have a look and went to the front of my car.... and this is what it looked like




i was ****ing fuming, i phoned the police straight awayand they said that they cant get no one out tonight and basically told me to go copshop in the morning to report it for criminal damage and told me theyd give me a crime reference number so i can claim from my insurance i told them to **** off as my insuance is already sky high with my points and driving conviction.

we didnt even argue just a casual friendly chat and he goes and does this to my car....

the guy is in his mid 40's aswell, ****ing pissed me off


gave the police everything they needed, could of got a copper out and arrested him that night as he was pissed up, and done that damage to my car with a house full of witnesses but they aint done jack so far not even come out to see me just left me a voicemail thats all

cant find a bonnet for it in any of the scrapyards in leicester and motorfactors want £85 for a copy one. the tosser has put me £85 out of pocket.

how did it managed to get so bent up? looks liek the slam panel is bent aswell so thats another £40 or so...

that really is bad...

thats not the slam panel, thats the frame of the bonnet, the bonnet is closed hes pulled the outer metal skin away from its frame. i cant even do anything with it to make it look half decent, keeps springing back up

not a good idea toi post what you got your mates to do, you could be charged over that.

is a bit of a wanka though. have you asked your mate for his number to pay for the bonnet? im rather confused as to how he did it too?

going by the sharp crease it looks like he somehow levered it with something.sounds like a right waste of space

ive asked my mate all i got was "oh i aint got my numbers on this phone" so i told him to go get his ass around there "oh ill go later" so i aint doing **** all for him now some friend eh!

if i go around hell most probally start and i cant be assed with it, because hell come out a hell of a lot worse then what i would and then id be the criminal in the eye of the law

hes gone to lift the bonnet and just wrenched it up must have some strenght on himas its broke the spot welds at the front and then mashed the bonnet frame up

na he didnt drive home pissed he lives around the corner from my mate

If your looking for a bonnet.. get intouch with EMO's Autos in nottingham. there a fiat scrappie and always have plenty of bits should be in the yellow pages.

yea, you need to click into the punto section, and search in there for seats, if there's nothing in there, have a look through the guides section (look up top) and through punto. Again, if there's nothing in there that suits your needs, go into the punto section, click on start thread, and type away at your request.

There isn't a how to guide in the guides section, and a quick scan has revealed a few comments about removing the bolts on the subframe. Last seats i replaced were on a clio, and they only had a few blts to remove, swap in and refasten.

If you cant find a bonnet let me know, as i know of a place with a black bonnet for £15 (will have to get it sent down though).

I wouldn't have involved the police.
