Last night the mirror on my sister clio was wrecked, so i took it apart and found that a spoked metal pipe has snapped (the rest of the mirror is perfect), so i thought i would be able to get the metal pipe from my local renault stealer, just to be told " the part you require can only be bought as part of the mirror" at a cost of £57 :eek:. The offending part has a number on it, but Renault have decided they wont sell these parts individually, so i am foaming :mad: :bang:

CW, i'll have a shufties around in my garage see if i've still got my old clio mirror... what clio is it? circa 92?

that's the new one, and it's got a different mirror assembly. besides, seems my mother has thrown all my old clio parts out as part of the house move. sorry

Looks like it's a trip to the scrap yard for you.

there's normally a couple of new clio's in the scrappers near here

not thought of taking the mirror assembly apart then, and just asking for the part..?
