How can i remove vinyl stickers?

If you have seen the photos of my car you will know that I have checkerd flag vinyl stickers along the side of it. But ive decided that I dont like them any more (they stand out too much and ive changed my mind on obvious mstyling now and think that subtle styling is nicer)...

So how can i get em off??? Ive tried peeling but they just tear and come off in bits. plus its a pain in the arse to actually get it to peel... so any ideas?

ahh... Unoboy recomended a lighter to heat em up but i never did just incase it damaged the paint work... a hairdryer should be ok tho ... will try to get it in the garage but my dads Triumph MK3 is in there and i doubt Ill ever get it out seen as it doesnt start and ill have to push it out into the road and out of the way so i can get my car in and then push it back onto the drive and then do it viseversa to get it back in before my dad gets home

Knowing my luck, if i were to push it on the road for 5 mins, i'd come back to find an £80 fine for no road tax stuck across the winscreen [:0]

Also, i hate it when you try to peel a vinyl sticker with your finger nail, and the pointy edge stabs you under the nail...arghhhh!

hehe... nope its tax exempt (tis a classic you know) ... and yeah, peeling isnt fun
