well i was just wondering, how do cars get this car smell? because my uno, sisters, grandads accord, dont smell of this car smell but the gt2 seats i had really smelt of it and my uncles corsa interior stinks of it, do you know the smell i mean? cant explain it! lol, how do i get it? i think its lovely lol

New car smell? They sell it in a spray can. I'm supprised you aint found it for sale on fleabay.

I bought a tescos air freshner (about 30p tescos value ) to put in the cinq when i sold it. I dont think it was a very welcome new car smell as it was so bloody strong and sour that i felt like gagging all the way to meeting the buyers :yuck: :yuck: :yuck:

it was so bad i nearly threw it out halfway there but i did have the window open (in the rain) to try and disguise the smell a bit

it was either that or have the lovely smell of oil from when i spilt some on the boot carpet and it stunk of it since .

I love new car smell though. doesnt tend to last long, makes you want to buy a new car every week! maybe thats where im going wrong

Febreeze, or wash the upholstery with a damp cloth.

I know a guy with a corsa, its done 9,000miles and its X reg*
anyway, it stil has what I would call a new car smell.



*the fact its done 9k in 5years or so just proves how nice they are to drive

my uncles corsa is n reg and done many miles and is a mess but smells lovely :yum:

my sisters at the moment has an over powering air freshner than smells really clean but her cars a mess!

My uncle use to run his car on chip fat and a bit of diesel to burn it better and that stunk

Can't stand "car smell" I have to get mine smelling of used firework casings, muddly wellies and subtle undertones of half a MacDonalds cheeseburger dropped in the rear footwell by the kids.
