Two young lads I know (one quite well) were killed in a smash last night in Carlisle, one or two other people from here know them but anyway, it's knocked me a bit for six, can only imagine what theire family and friends and Joe's GF Sarah (who used to work with me) are going through

Blimey, thats baaaaaaaad, You have to feel for their parents.Nobody expects to outlive their offspring. Its at times like this that people should realise that life is precious and you should live life for the minute.Before you close the front door on your way out tell them you love them, who knows when youll get the chance again. Quite a shock I'm sure. Similar thing happened August last year. I knew the mother of one of the dead quite well and it destroyed her. Hope everyone involved has someone to find comfort with.

i had a close friend who died as a result of a car crash coming around 5 years ago now, it is awful and makes you think about things from a different perspective. she was in hospital for 3 days before she passed away so her family got to say goodbyes but it is horrible for anybody.

Driving through the night last night, I saw the aftermath of two serious accidents

It makes you think how precious life really is

listening to the radio today, there were loads of car accidents in gtr manchester alone. its a terrible thing that the victims families have to deal with tragic news.
been there and not something you can even prepare yourself for.
tomorrow and over the weekend, roads are going to be lethal, so keep travel down to necessity[sp] only. its the other idiots you need to watch out for as well.

Especially the Fiestas on dual carriageways doing 40 with their fog lights on, in mild mist - forcing HGVs to overtake. What a plonker.
