Hello all
Big smiles because me Strut Brace arrived today

Now, how do you fit them? is it a simple case of unscrewing the Bolts at the top of the strut, attaching the afformentioned strut brace then Screwing the bolts back?

Or would I need to raise the car off the ground first so the car doesn't fall over when I uncrew the bolts?

I'm gonna do it Beasty's way

The car won't fall over, as the car's weight will keep the tension on the springs anyway...

Just make sure there's nothing in the way of fitting it, on the Punto there is the brake fluid reservoir and on the higher models (i presume) there is the power steering fluid reservoir.

depends on the car as to whether you need to drill or not.should be fairly obvious if you have lined it up

Are you talking about a mk1 or mk2 punto? The Mk2's don't have power steering fluid...

Yes it is thanks its fecking driving like its on pills and doesn't look like its coming down any time soon....

And the petrol now lasts way longer

The mk1... The only one I have tried fitting a strut brace to.
