Just failed my driving test, i got 4minors 1major
1major being, doing my reverse round the corner just finsihed straightening up and a vectra screams past at 60+ from the road that i reversed from.....and the car was stopped i had my foot on the brake and he sed i kept on going what a Fat Ginger T*****, anyway got another test in 10days! and if i get the same bloke i am absolutly not even gonna get a minor, i am gona make sure i do the perfect driving test, Other minor was for not changing gear come up to traffic lights! it says it all why change from 3-4 when im about 40 yards from red lights, what a tosser, they obviously had passed as many as they can for the day which is 2.

Know exactly how you feel, First test I done I had 2 minors and 1 major... I think they are just jealous cause certain young drivers like me and you are the dogs danglies and they still aren't.

Try doing your test with an Inspector assessing the tester........it's nervewracking, to say the least, especially when you can see them when you look in your rear view mirror...............I also found reversing more difficult.

I had that on one of my tests...............one of the ones i failed

surely the can only pass 2 a day is absolute bull ****! the will only pass if your were meant to pass. good luck with your next test and why dont you drive perfect no matter whos taking your test not just the fat ginger fella lol

Glad you got another test so soon though, i think i had to wait 4 months

Failing sucks but if you know you have you get to drive like an idiot afterwards because your instructor can't see what you're doing to their car hopefully will pass next time though..

I know you said you got another test in 10 days but isnt there a 14 day minimum wait between tests or something along those lines?

What i was told when i failed mine by the instructor.

Unlucky about failing though. I failed because i hit an imaginary kerb so i know how ya feel lol. I was told to imagine there was a kerb at a certain point and reverse park in.

[edit] its not eaxactly 14 days minimum wait between test after i just looked it up is 10 clear working days....you may have to cancel that test and book another one

Sorry to hear that cheekycento, I know what it's like (too many times to care to remember lol)... I kept failing for really stupid stuff, forgot to turn indicator off after moving away from side of road, being 'too hesitant' turning right (I still don't believe that one, I had my instructor in the back and he said I was fine) and going 5mph over speed limit, oops! It's a rubbish feeling, but it will make you more determined for next time, and you will show 'em! Good luck for 10 days time

Im 2nd time aswell. I wouldnt worry about failing. You'll be more condifent 2nd time round cause you will know whats expected. I failed my first one on 3 minors (2 of which were driving through mud, because we had a flash flood the night before) and 1 major. My major was that i never looked out my rear view window on my reverse part of my 3 point turn. I checked it before i started moving and afterwards but cause i used my mirrors and side windows he failed me!!! Gutted. Best of luck next time.

Bad luck i know how you feel, you will pass next time.

i failed twice, first time i was really nervous and i had this legendary man that no one wanted to have a test with, he wore a rain jacket when it was quite sunny and kept moving so all i could her was a swishing sound he had 3inch thick glasses and he was nasty. He failed me on speeding and when overtaking i didnt give enough gap before i pulled in i tried to explain it was a racing manover didnt help lol

Second time same man i nearly fainted with fear, heading for a pelican crossing and there was a man in a wheel chair he started to move like he was crossing before anyone stopped so stopped a little heavy on the breaks and he made a big deal out of it saying i speeded up and i wasnt taking care of what was going on.

Third time lucky different man who made me very calm and i passed.

1st times a charm

im a first time with 8 minors and very poor knowledge of highwat code at time as was no written test.

can rmemeber end of test guy wasked me the 3 highway code questions.

one was how far away you need to be from car in front doing 60mph, i had no clue so just said a long way he said that would do and i passed lol

Bad luck mate, i'm sure your pass again in 10 days time. Good luck for then.

How about this then for magic/ or coisedence:

• 1st test i got 1 major and 3 minors
• 2nd test i wasnt able to do it, as on one of the questions he asked me to turn the dipped beam on. I did this and one of the bulbs didn't work, so wasnt able to do the test (this was in broad daylight).
• 3rd test - passed with 2 minors!.

And on all three occasions i had Scott - the same examinor, what a fluke

yeah lmao i was shocked he acepted that was nervous as helll. sweating liek mad, driving instructor who was waiting for me to come back asked what hell i done to his seat as it felt damp lol i reasured him there were no accidents just manly sweat :slayer:
