well,if you tend to criticise certain people on here, they report you,and the thread is either locked or deleted.its supposed to be an open furum.perhaps there should be a do and dont policy on here.or not.thats why ive asked for people's opinion and suggestions.:)

I'm afraid at this present moment I'm not sure what's being referred to, but suffice to say - if people are being attacked, then threads are either pulled or closed yes.

This is a friendly place, personal attacks are not wanted.

Threads are never deleted though (they are moved into a special area) - so if you think one was deleted unjustly, let a mod know and we can look at re-instating it.

Did you read the terms and conditions? Every moderation is discussed between the moderators that happen to be online.

i did indeed report my postings being deleted over the red key issue.never got re-instated or been given any reason why.and it is a criticism iam talking about and not threats.i can take them all day long, but if i verbally retaliate to defend something ive said, they go straight to reporting it.shame on them.i find it a bit of a one way street sometimes.:(

The posts you are asking about in the red key thread were removed because of the way in which the points were made. The tone was not in keeping with the forum, and such posts from any member will be removed in the same way.

There seems to be a backlash against moderators on here at the moment. The plain and simple facts are that people who wish to contribute must do so within the terms and conditions specified when you sign up. If anyone decides to be too lewd, offensive or abusive then they can expect the posts to be moderated. If any individual wishes to ask the moderators why the posts were investigated, they may do so.

We have had people saying 'It's a free forum, I'll do whatever the hell I want to do'. The forum however is controlled by a team of volunteer moderators who discuss how best to keep order and what actions to take. If posts are outside the T&C, the user will be warned for repeated breach of the T&C. Anyone who has been excluded from the forum has been warned, and knew exactly why. Those individuals have chosen, by themselves, not to stay on by their own free will.

Not all reported posts are edited, by the way. If it's deemed unnecessary by the moderators, then we may take no action.

According to the log backstage, you replied via a pm to say "no problem, the matter is now closed"....

If you wanted to push it, that doesn't seem like a likely reply?
ben,i was told mine and dave's posts would be looked at again and if found to be positive towards the thread, they would re-instated.nobody did a thing.thats why i decided to close the matter.

The posts were looked at, and it was decided the right choice was made in the first instance.

edit: Serin, I've just been on the sun bed, that's all :)

if people keep complaing about us mods ben will cut our wages :(

I was only complaining about one comment which I thought was an inappropriate response.

Anyway the bribe I give you every month should keep you going ;)

I have been looking into the red key thing, i am waiting for a reply on it so it hasnt been forgotten.

Threads are discussed backstage, personally i think the forum is quite relaxed but sometimes people try and push it a little far.
sorry, but not good enough.this is an important issue.i still stand by what i posted.people are still asking about the red keys, and wrong info is being given out.this needs sorting.
