So with scotland and yorkshire having snow i can understand them having winters on already....

But east Midlands its still dancing from single figures to low teens....

Never averaging around the 7degrees alot...

Im holding off just yet.... as im waiting for mrs new rubber to arrive

Swapping over this weekend, was going to do it last weekend, but, somewhat ironically, it was too cold to be working on cars!

No winter tyres for me yet. Believe it or not, there's really not a lot of snow on the main roads in my neighbourhood, its the ice that's the killer. As a care worker in the early mornings tackling wee streets & cul de sacs that see little sun or traffick can be interesting in the handling department. The gentlest slope in icy conditions can just grind you to a standstill without the proper winter tyres. Next couple of months should see me changing on to my winter boots.

Winter tyres went on last week. Not so much for snow, but for better grip and brake performance in the wet.
35 mile commute to and from work, and notoriously wet highways since "silent asphalt" was introduced.

For those of us who are retired, it seems to be less of a problem.....my working day starts at 10 am and ends at 3 pm ! And, if it’s too much trouble, then I will order from t’internet !

The winter wheels/Ultragrips will be going onto the Panda next week, the 500C is sat on them at the moment while the alloys have been away for powdercoating (collected yesterday, look great, dark anthracite)

I've got the 18" wheels on mine, with summer tyres on I had no issues in the snow earlier this year (last year, depending on when you read this). That A on the DNA system is pretty handy :)

"D" is useful for upsetting tailgaters at the change of speed limit.

I've just fitted a set of all year General tyres to the 100HP. All I need now is new track rods so I can get the tracking sorted.
