I just read about this. They are running a pilot in the U.S You pay $2000 or $3000 a month and get to drive any porsche you want (depending on which option you go for).

I don't know if other manufacturers are doing this but I'm wondering what people think of a main stream company like Fiat/Ford etc doing the same for potentially less outlay? Given that I struggle to understand the concept of leasing/PCP's I am interested in what you lot think.

I think that it could be a good idea as I have two cars but only one is used at any time as the wife won't drive. So we have a Fiesta for the commute and a Multipla for the weekend. I'm also thinking of getting a toy car as I'm having a midlife crisis. If there is a subscription from say Fiat I could have a Panda Mon-Fri, do they do anything bigger for the weekend and a 124 spyder for sunny days.

OR Ford, Ka -Galaxy- Mustang!

Tipo is an estate.

Ok concept...probably fine for Porsche..
But the varying build specs...control operation of FIAT would make a few hours of occasional use really hard work.

Example we have 3 x FIAT cars ..was 4..all of them have wiper stalks on the RHS (124 may not..) however all 3 work in a different way..
Same with thek main beam-indicators...

Sounds like another excellent wheeze from Porsche to assist them to separate fools/money. They already have Porsche Solutions Personal Contract Plan, Porsche Lease Plan, Porsche Hire Purchase and Porsche Contract Hire along with the eye-wateringly expensive "experience" facility at Silverstone.
Great cars though, I bought a 6yr old/30,000 mile 911C2S for a third of it's new price, ran it for 2yrs and sold it for exactly what I'd paid.

Porsche Passport is only available in the USA and costs $500 to join then $2000 a month for the basic cars, boxster Macan etc, if you want a 911 or a panamera it’s $3000 a month, but it’s only a trial so no telling how long this will go on for.
