Just in time for actual TG to start, good news is as ever TGT has set a pretty low bar...almost get the feeling the budget constraints at the BBC forced them to be more creative and varied what they were doing.

I’ve quite enjoyed the last season of TGT however that last episode was embarrassing. They seemed to be essentially mocking the poor in their own country.

Doing something silly through apparent ignorance is one thing but thinking you can smoke fish with diesel exhaust was ridiculous. Hammond on a motor bike with a drying rack was ridiculous, and mays fish tank sloshing about was ridiculous. Every part of the show seemed scripted like some dodgy slapstick comeady

This weeks episode of the grand tour features a U.K. registered Panda Sisley H660GKL almost certainly someone on here will recognise it ?

Just to add to the general knowledge base - My '16 Plate Ibiza St with the 3 cyl turbo petrol engine does the same "trick" No balance shaft, solid flywheel cleverly out of balance to make it run smoothly, and it does! Exceptionally smooth and very quiet tick over. Before I was used to her I thought she'd stalled several times whilst sitting at traffic lights (I always disable the stop/start). When pulling hard she has a very pleasing growly Flat/v6 sound as described above but is very quiet cruising on the motorway. I like her a lot but don't think the engine will last 19, and counting, years like my old 1.9tdi Cordoba! Then again I doubt if I will either!
