in the process of re-doing mine, but was just wondering, is it worth putting anything about why you chose the subjects you did at AS/A - levels?

or just replace it with more info about intrests related to the course being applyed for?

charlie

Mine was pure ego-rubbing as advised by tutors etc...I hated it...but it worked fine ;)

need to do mine aswell

Found out today that everythin needs to be done by thursday.

****in teachers do my head in.
They said that we were told this 4 weeks ago and have had all that time to do it.
******** were we told this. But nooo, we were told this because the teachers are always right
I wasnt even told anything because they make me go to a different college for the other course im taking and they were sorting everything out while I was at the other college. Nice to know they inform me of important information.

Dr Watling, don't worry, that's just a "in school" deadline and can be ignored - although it's best to get it sorted ASAP. The Oxbridge/medics/vets dadline has only just past so only a small number of people have completed their UCAS forms.

Charlie, the PS is a very personal thing, I would definitely advise focusing on you rather than telling the tutor what their course has. You can focus on yourself and show that.

ok, so my course is automotive engineering, i need to tell them about my enthusiasm involving cars and working on/with them?

and the skills i have for using CAD/CAM programmes!?

charlie

IMO they not only want to know what you CAN do but a willingness to learn in the future. I could do a **** load before I went to uni - my ability to learn was lower than I thought.
