yes,they want you to log in as you didnt add the email.therefore the scammers get your log in details

edit:although the link does go to a secure paypal page hmmmm

best bet is to log in via the paypal homepage and not that link and follow it up from there

I just clicked on link, and eBay toolbar didn't pick it up as a spoof site :chin:

the link given IS the proper paypal web address though.

it says if paypal contact you they do it by name not just hello paypal user

The URL you gave doesn't exist, there is some code in the e-mail that redirects to some other website. Its a classic scam don't put any security details into the form.

the url goes to the genuine paypal website.

me too, i bet loads of people get fooled by this site

Had a similar spoof, for the more eagle eyed of web users the pic on the site are all fuzzy and not as sharp as the real thing.

Sadly folks are still falling for this hence the reason why they keep sending them out, for every 10K emails they send I bet they sting some poor (albeit thick) buddy.

It does look real and I wouldn't be surprised if lots of people fell for it...

Link looks like it could possibly also contain a virus. please make sure all that have clicked and that are goin to click have your anti virus software up to date or are skilled enough to remove the potential virus manually.
