Broken :(

Yesterday my rear screen got smashed, completely obliterated

Kids i expect

Luckily Its covered by windscreen thingy on my insurance and it got fixed today

I took it out, was covered in glass. Nothing to take out of car, nothing kept in it

But still an extra expense and hassle!!

Thank god for windscreen cover on insurance..........wasnt aware that covered your rear window aswell, or have you got something special?

i didnt think it covered both until i rang up!! Nothing special as far as im aware, just fully comp on privilege.com!!

and yeh, im a B-C member also lol

Usually all glass is covered via the FC policies but check yours if in doubt.

Those back screens are expensive and it's pretty cool to watch them being fitted since they don't really sit in a rame like screens of old. My dad's car got it's rear screen smashed this year.

aaah i feel for u, had the same happen on my old '98 punto + a dent in the bonnet and roof! i had a spoiler attached to the rear screen, i reckon what happend was that they walked onto the bonnet and onto the roof and stepped on the spoiler which shattered the screen. I was so gutted and stopped caring about the car from then on

got a new screen fitted for £100 but i never had the spoiler re-fitted.

Only time ive broken a windscreen is when i ran some chavy kid over!

my brother in law lives in germany and had a corsa from new. after two year of having it had no issues at all with it. he drove to the uk an the first night soneone smashed the back window. wish we caught him!!!!
