Yep I am up for that ;) We can then go to the government and get it adopted on car tax discs ;)

I am talking about very obvious cases ;)

I thought that happened anyway, why did I have to send all my vitals to Steve?

Maybe if you did that it would mean people wanting to break the law wouldn't ask for advice on how to do it.

Paul, what do you suggest as a solution to this 'problem'?

Common sense and the moderation team putting the mass majority of our members first instead of hiding facts from everybody.

Paul- So your view on Ins is to bend over and take it?

You gotta sometimes do things you don't particularly want to do, and if it keeps you legal and not doing it could potentially cost you a lot more in the long run...................

In his defence, it's not about bending over and taking it. The premium is based on risk and that means a higher cost if your young. If your a named driver and are in fact the main user your not paying the proper premium. That means that everybody else is paying for the risk instead because all the premiums go up to cover costs.

Yes but the higher cost is the quick way out of it for insurers. If they wanted to do it properly they could give you cheaper insurance depending on how many Minors you got on your test or have someone work for the company come out for a spin with you to see how risky you are.

But they won't because its long and will cost THEM too much, so might aswell just get as much money out the suckers and rape em.

We're all being raped. not physically but the wallet would definately have to go to the police to report the rape that takes place monthly.

Ok I understand that you have to pay for it for instance i'm paying £1700 to insure my Uno with ALL mods declared...

But when I first past my test for a year I was a named driver on my dads insurance even though he only drove the car around 5times... but should this mean that people shouldn't of helped me with the mods I did or that I put a 1242 engine into it as soon as I had the insurance in my own name?

I insure every one of my mods, purely because if something happened to my car I wouldn't want to give the insurance company any excuse to get out of paying up.

What I did not know however, if for example I left out my custom exhaust on my insurance, and hit someone up the ass and it was my fault, they would have to make the claim on their own insurance because mine would be invalid ?

Also I think if you get go faster Stripes you have to declare them aswell, as even if your car is bog standard and you put:

K&N
KONI
Eibach
PiperCross
JBL
Pioneer

Stickers on your car you are making your car more attractive to thieves.

Do you really think the insurance companies have buttons on their software for Declared Go faster Stickers?

I bet they just use the + and - buttons for price and manually type in: go faster stickers.

And even though these don't actually make your car faster, if you crash or are crashed into they could have the cheek to void your insurance, which I personally think is taking liberties
