Just arrived at my office (Tooting Broadway) - hordes of Police and Reporters outside all congregated in the road right opposite. Checked on the BBC News Site and this apparently is where 9 people have been arrested under the anti-terrorism laws. Started about about 0700 I am told by an earlier colleague.

Good to know the Police are in action. As I am working in a Muslim area I wondered how long it would take before something happened round here.

I did take a photo with my camera phone but we don't have Bluetooth in the office - yet.

LONDON RULES!

I have never seen so many Press and cameras - how many photos and interviews can they do? Apparently my office was filmed and shown on the box. My boss is pleased - all that free advertising. Meanwhile we are chained to our desks!

Oh I see - the bombs were found at Luton. Doesn't make us here feel too much better. The Kebab shop they raided is right opposite too - glad I never went in there. We're still working (y) (in between rushing to the window and posting).

God, when will this thing end, i cant believe what people are perpared to do :(

Quite Sammi- I saw the photos of the tube trains - unbelievable. Those poor passengers. Some people are just plain evil - how they can believe that they will be rewarded in another life is beyond me.

Police still in evidence - road still sealed off. The forensic boys are in there. However the press are looking somewhat bored now and obviously wishing to be elsewhere. So it looks as though the "excitment" is over - until the next time.

In the meantime - LONDON RULES!

Things happen that way a lot, A couple of years a go a cleaner was shot in a toilet in Leigham Court Road... when he walked in on a drug deal...

And I believe the same happened to a greengrocer round the corner...

Bet that'll be on the front of SLP though...
