Someone deleted my thread in AW about Stilo Eibach springs, who was it and why?

Not sure who deleted it. It's already in the Stilo General section so I would guess that it was deleted for that reason.

Was deleted from auction watch as a duplicate thread existed in the stilo section

I put a link to the thread in AW in the Stilo section, now there is a broken link

right thread now tidied, and if it goes off on one again i will just remove it

ok, the reason why the thread was deleted was beacuse there were two threads the same, we talked back stage about which one to lose and it was mentioned that some stilo guys dont wander from the stilo section so would be more benifical there because it was just for stilos. we try to keep duplicate posts off the forum. with one being in stilo section then there was no need for one in the auction watch one.

Except the one in the Stilo section was a link to the thread in the AW, not the ebay auction itself and therefore once the one in the AW was deleted, the link in the Stilo section was broken. I posted like this because I have seen it done elsewhere on the forum and there was no problem then

as soon as a moderator of the stilo section is on then they can put the link on that post you made, but why put a post linking to a thread about the exact same thing? thats the reasoning for the removal

Can I just point out that Stu's on holiday & John & Twincamms are hardly ever online these days!

Looks like it falls to Pete/ Claire though. If you report a thread to a moderator, does it still trigger a thread in the mods forum to alert people to such things?

ive seen that done alot of times it put in another section i.e. members motors then linked in the relevant section
and how often do i back DC up lol

I didn't want to start a new thread and thought that this one fitted the bill perfectly.

I was just wondering where last nights thread about what we do for a living has gone to and why it's dissapeared, I thought it was quite interesting

Thats why, I was pretty vague about what I wrote as regards to details of who etc, but I did notice there were some replies that were quite detailed and I have to say in hindsight that you did the right thing

Isn't it people's choice what they post though? I think that everyone's aware that this is a public forum.
I posted a reasonable amount about my work, and who I work for. But that was my choice.

yeah i spose it was for our own good but then it was our choice to post it on there
well its gone who cares lol u can tell ppl on msn if u want them to know
