Does anybody know what the Honda motorcycle mission statement was during the late 80s early 90s...

I believe it was something along the lines of "to thrash, beat and grind suzuki motorcycles into the ground and leave them for dust", but I want to know if this was a) true, and b) what it actually was.

I may have this the wrong way around. it may have been suzuki about honda.

How about this:

'We will crush, squash, slaughter Yamaha!'

in 1981 Yamaha brought out a new facotry that would of ment they would become the market leaders in under a year! this prompted Honda to take up the battle cry of 'Yamaha wo tsubusu,' which translated as 'We will crush/break/smash/butcher/slaughter/or destroy Yamaha.

I suppose in hindsight I should have posted the whole link and page where I got it fom [via Google], but I thought that would look too cocky
