i received this email today and i clicked the link and it was asking me for my card details to verify the account which was strange as they already have them but then they was asking for my pin number that u put in a the atm :confused:why do they need that ?

They dont - sounds like they need detials to clone the card, then the pin so they can draw the cash out :mad:

Forward it to paypal and see what they have to say :)
 
Just in case cancel the card and get the bank to issue a new one with a new number.

If they have got the number they could use it, especially if you gave them the expiry date and the last three numbers on the signature strip.

next time you get one dont even open it. you get the hang of what they look like - we've had loads! just forward it to that address and the real ebay usually send you a thankyou email.
im sure ive sent a real one back aswell once - oops!
oh well they shoul dmake it more secure or something :D
