tell me will a drilled airbox make any noise (you know roar noise, lol) when being driven? thanks

using my logical thinking i think at best you will get a whistle noise....maybe others think/know differently

Yeah,It'll make more noise.But you Will prolly loose power,due to drawing in warm air from teh engine bay.It will prolly run weaker as well,difficult to see what you will gain really.

hes 15, so isnt really interested in performance, as hes not gonna drive it anywhere

im only doing it because im going to be driving it soon, NO NOT ON THE ROAD just some private land that my mums boy friend basicly owns and his taking my car there to practise to drive and then drive so i want my car to sound fast! lol if it goes any slower il have to fit a 20bhp resistor!! lol

If your not going to take it anywhere take the airbox off, it will make a nice noise then! But don't throw owt in your throttle body or it will knacker your engine.
Or, if that sounds to risky go to motorsave and get a max power air filter for £20, and bolt it to where the cold air feed comes out of the airbox. Sounds great i can vouch for that because i have tried it!
