Red Bull soapbox race on dave now

So far only one cart, a replica of a routemaster entered by arriva has made it, the others a laptop and a tornado gr4 entered by 617 squadron destroyed themselves on the last jump. 3 runners down and one missing tooth already.

Pleasant enough way to waste a Sunday afternoon.

They've gone all health and safety...chicane and changing the last jump to make it less lethal...its bureaucracy gone mad!

Im disappointed with the amount of coverage dave shown, out of all 70 soapboxes they showed about 20 at the most, i was looking forward to seeing Fast car's entry but Dave didnt show that either.

Saw one of the teams "build" this morning 6 hours to drill 4 holes in 1" by 1" steel box section and after the welding lessons none of them should have been let near an angle grinder......

Indeed - absolutely sold the job out! Did you see the front nearside front wheel collapse after the first corner too! The Boltmobile at the end was by far the best and most ridiculous

They appeared in the back of one of the interviews at the start but didn't show the run.

Mine never got picked, so its sat at the back of my garage awaiting some form of propulsion system, go kart engines or some thing.....
