it scratched my car this happened to anyone else?

i pay £5 for the kosavo's at one of them hand car washs

Jetwash incident befor the Nottingham meet.

Took the car back as I didnt see the brush scratching as it was foaming at the same time. Basically ghey said 'prove it was us'

when my panda got scratched and the sunroof blew out (by the dryer at a car wash), i got in touch with a no win no fee solicitor, and managed to get £650 for repairs .

aye, i remember wimmy's scratch.
unlucky though. on current car, i've always cleaned it myself.
otherwise i goto a hand wash place i trust well.

unlucky though.
i hate scratches and stone chips.

i usually jetwash but before it changes to brush i clean the brushhead with the lance as people are always leaving them on the ground

Yeah years ago, and i've never used one since
I always do mine by hand, I never wear rings or watches and I always wear soft clothing with no scratchy things on

I've been lucky with car washes before although they never clean around the rear lights properly.

helz....erm....i dont remember seeing you at stanford...and you didnt meet us at the showcase!... what happened?

I missed the showcase meet due to stopping twice and a very long speed restriction on the motorway at Stoke. I was at Stanford from 9am onwards wearing a FF top

:yeahthat: , except our one is 6 quid. Everyone i know uses them because they don't want to risk the other car wash.

Yeah, so I heard Name n shame time!

£10 for the eastern european lads at californian (polish, ukrainian, kosovan, etc it's very united nations down there!)

hand wash and wax, wheels individually done, tyres dressed, all the black bits as well, and the interior vacuumed, etc

seems a lot esp when i have to take both cars down, but then i am a lazy so so as anyone who saw the car at the ace last week will confirm........

i didnt think people that cared about their cars took them through mechanical car washes

I took mine through a mechanical one before and snapped my aerial so never again. I normally hand wash mine my self now, although i do sometimes let the kosovans do it at makro for £5

Ermm...you normally take your arial off before putting it through the wash!! Saying that, made the mistake of leaving it on once....painful sound!!!

But to be honest only when i feeling really lazy i actually put it throught an automatic wash!
