What is going on? An execution of what appears to be a soldier, or somebody wearing clothing connected with the military in broad daylight in a suburb of London. Can this ever be justified? This could blow the lid off and create trouble up and down the country.

It's disgusting isn't it...was just watching the bloke on the news...doesn't care at all, talking on camera with the knife in his hand :/

I think that if the media were to show everything that went on up and down the country (relating to 'extremists' etc etc), a lot of people would be VERY worried & political parties such as UKIP would have a much stronger presence by now.
It's so much easier for the main parties to deny the existance of a problem because of lack of reporting.

Thankfully most people realise full well that violence is not going to sort this out, perhaps there is no solution.

On facebook the knuckle draggers are already suggesting that we (well, they) need to fight back, quite how I'm not sure! I'm an immigrant, are they going to come and behead me? Oh wait, I'm not black or a Muslim......

Anyone who has two brain cells knows that if a group of knuckle draggers so much as attack one person of the Islamic faith who is most likely not involved in this, the payback will be far worse and you could risk kicking something rather serious off which is far bigger than their small brains could imagine.

And the blood all over his hands (n)
The telly said the victim was wearing a 'help for heroes' T shirt. Did this make him a target for these nutjobs?

Tbh the BBC and ITV should be up on terrorism charges, broadcasting hate speech from these ****wits which is EXACTLY what they wanted.

Cover the story by all means, but don't show the attacker with blood on his hands or the pool of blood in which the victim died. Totally unacceptable.....

I have a feeling that the footage came about sort of by accident. It was taken (I think) by a member of the public, probably on a phone, and I bet the person didn't realise at first that the man who was spouting nonsense with blood on his hands was actually one of the perpetrators, not a witness. It seems that the 2 "perps" as they call them on TV actually hung around until the armed police turned up (20 minutes later) and shot both of them.

Thing is Maxi, you may be an immigrant, but so far as I am aware we haven't had any white Australian terrorists that are also Muslims of the warped variety. So I think your head is quite safe.

The thing is that we shouldn't kill any innocents if we can help it, whether they be Muslim, Australian or both. If these two attackers have been killed then so be it, but let the bloodshed end there. They attacked someone who appears to be innocent and that's getting people angry, just think what will happen if some EDL knuckle dragger type goes and kills some innocent Muslim who finds this as horrific as you or I?

Contraversial question maybe

No justication on what has happened but is it really a terrorist attack or rather two brainwashed lunatics on a random attack?

Not controversial at all, I completely agree.

I think it's wrong that people were calling this a terrorist attack, extremist attack yes, but terrorist attack no (IMHO)

What is the difference?
2 people attacking and not just killing, but be-heading an off-duty soldier whilst chanting Islamic slogans. I honestly don't know what the answer is, but this is terrorism in my book. Extreme violence to make a point through terror.
30 years ago almost all the terrorist offences committed on Mainland UK were carried out by the IRA, and in Northern Ireland by both the Nationalists and the Protestants. Their motivation was supposedly political, but with a strong element of organised gangland warfare thrown in . They were known at the time as "Irish terrorists". Now the common link, whether people like it or not is extreme Islam, again with a strong element of organised gangland warfare thrown in. Whether these are small splinter groups or Al Quaeda, the end result is the same .
I agree in that I fervently hope that nobody innocent is killed, of any denomination, but that's just pie in the sky I'm afraid.

Terrorists or not, 4 hard working members of society will have their tax money spend on keeping one of these murderers in jail...fed, warm & healthy.

This was a barbaric cold blooded pre-meditated murder and deserves the death penalty.

It would just make them martyrs :)
