Italian cars have for reliability

Especially where electrics are concerned.

So picture the scene,

1 Fiat Bravo
1 tow rope
1 chitreon C3

yep, you got it, the C3 wasn't a happy bunny and had gone on strike - Bella had to tow the heap to our work's carpark where it's owner's hubby could recover it.

the owner had tried to reset the ECU on the C3 (on hubby's instructions) to try to get it running but the C3 wasn't in the mood to co-operate.

In summary Bravo 1, chitreon 0 :D

unless of cause you say the reverse gear of the BMW was defective and as it was so heavy it needed towing out the parking place then all will be forgiven  :ROFLMAO:

Ohhh How dare you lower the tone like that on here... Think this is classed as posting unsavoury material in our Big book of forum rules which carries 10 points!  ;)

As it managed to hydrolock on its own petrol after an epic electrical failure shortly after I'd spent best part of a grand getting it A1 its lucky I didn't burn it out!...yes I'm still bitter after 5 years.

bet the air was rather blue

You have no idea, spent 18 months looking for an immaculate 16v elx (I loved my mk1s and that was in my opinion the best one they did)...only 400 or so sold to begin with, found a two owner one, full history, with all the options, all original keys, got all the suspension renewed, shocks, bushes, tyres serviced e.t.c. got all the body work straightened out for an appearance on the fiat forums stand at Donny and it was sold spares or repair 3 months after...raging was not the word.
