Can anyone please confirm, If a Fiat dealer puts an Uno 1.0ie onto his diagnostic test machine to test the Bosch SPI system (this does not include the vehicles ignition system) how long does the test take to run ?

Thank you.

From past experience the fiat specialist I go to has checked the SPI system or so he told me. It takes about 45 mins to do with them taking the car out and thrashing it to get some response on the test machine. I did not take it to a fiat dealer so i'm not sure how they would differ.
Please correct me if i'm wrong..

The modding will start, once my zorst arrives!!

If it's any use to you, Fiat quoted me £52.50 (oh, plus VAT) to do a diagnostic on my Cinq Sporting. This is apparently based on a 90 minute job.

Most dealers have a fixed time which varies from half an hour to 90 minutes, the test doesnt take that long but if the fault can be rectified in that time no further charge is given. Also we only charge for the first examiner test, if you have two faults on seperate systems, most dealers only chage once.

every fiat or alfa dealer i have ever asked has said they will charge twice if i require more than one module to be diagnosied, for example the airbag system is always a seperate charge even if you get it done at the same time.
