I went out for a meal today and as you know my wifes American, and she finds certain things really funny.

Well to cut a long story short, she nearly p*ssed herself when I asked the waitress for some ice cream on my spotted dick.

The poor girl didn't know where to look and there was the mrs crying with laughter.

All i could say to the girl was "Americans eh "..

I have to say, it's the first time i had tasted it and it was loverly :D
 
well im English... and even i have to have a giggle at Spotted Dick...I mean WHY what did they expect!!!! but maybe im just really juevinile!!! :eek:

lol, yeah, we still come across loads of things like that even after being together for 3 years tomorrow.
But she is becoming more and more English with her wording now.

It's actually a bigger day for us than our wedding anniversary. I Saw her for the very first time at heathrow airport 3 years ago tomorrow after we had met over the net. We would have got married the very same day if we could.

Yeah for sure.... West Ham are on the telly :D

lol... thats why we went out today instead, and the fact that we could be without the kids today. So we went to a really secluded beach ;) and then for a meal :)

its insane isnt it...i mean who would spend most of their days on the internet talking to people they dont know and then meeting them? not me thats for sure! :D
