Anyone got any good idaes on how I can remove oil from an oil saturated carpet?

The 5L tub of oil I had behind my driver's seat has leaked and soaked the carpet through :(

We're looking at 500mL-1L of 'frauds finest 15W/40, so my car stinks...anyone?

I reckon it'll be hard work Tom! Plenty of scrubbing. If that fails then I think you'd need a new carpet :(

Soak up the worst with cat litter (leave it overnight), then get hold of some water-based degreaser (something like "Muc-Off"). Spray on, let it soak in for a minute or 2, then scrub like mad. Wipe it off with a damp cloth, repeat until its gone.

Or, just buy a new carpet set!
