why are some of the car threads showing up in the leisure lounge?

I know ive not been well as of late, but i thought i'd had a set back... read a couple of threads in their specific car forum (eg Bravo) but they also appear in leisure lounge.

is this a cock up or something new?

Anything that is posted within the car forums which is prefixed as "Off Topic" gets linked into the Leisure Lounge too for some reason now

its as designed
people can post in their car section with subjects not really about that car,(as often folks want to do) but it opens the posts up to the LL people too.
If a post is labelled off topic then it wont really relate to the car model really

think a prime example is one going on in the Cinq/Sei section regarding services. its photos of a Honda CRV and is more a generic LL thread than specific to Cinq's

I actually changed the prefix on that one as it was tagged Technical but as it's nowt to do with Cento's I opened it up to everyone

That's the poster's fault, if it has the wrong prefix report it and the section mod will change it.

the default is "No Preffix" which means that you cant post it. If its preffixed the system will automatically search for similar threads to see if its been double posted.. or several times in most.

If its off topic i dont think it searches.

Its up to the postee what it gets put as, if you regard it as off topic then you'll put that. I've seen stuff put down as Technical which should really be "General" or "Styling"
