Been advertising my car for nearly 3 weeks now, had 1 guy interested but he let me down and nothing else :(

It's on gumntree, here, tootcar.com, local sale page on facebook, adverts in supermarkets and posters in car.

Why is no-one interested and what can I do to boost interest?
It may be because it has 100,000 miles on it but it's in great condition.

HELPS ME??!?!?!
any suggestions?

ta,
Ali punto girl

It's the problem of trying to sell it on the cheap.

If someone wants a car they look in the autotrader or exchange and mart, if they want a bargain they go on eBay or to a car auction.

You really do have to spend money to make money

I was going to say that the most important factor is that the price needs to reflect the mileage, especially considering this is often a deal breaker when viewing smaller-engined cars.
However, having looked at the advert, I reckon you've priced it about right and made it clear there's room for negotiation.
So it looks like the guys above are right - spend a little to advertise in the places where it'll be more visible. Autotrader would be your best bet in my opinion. Might also be worth giving it a service and bumping the price to £1000 ono to do a deal at £950

If I thought I could get by with a car as small as a Punto (I'd love to get rid of my big oil burner), I'd definitely be interested in your car.

Anyways, good luck :)

I believe its quite cheap to advertise on Autotrader is your car is less than £1000 as well. Autotrader is the very first place I would go to look for a car.
