I thought i would share this with you, About a year ago before i got my tattoo's i decided to have something different done.
I first had a ball bearing inserted in to my left for arm
i then went had this ring put in,

Unfortunaatly it started to grow out so for about 6 weeks i had a piece of metal protruding from the skin, i eventually had it removed after i nearly made my mother spew at the dinner table

at the time i wanted something different to tattoos so had implants done instead
I could have had them put in little tstaboy if i wanted

So whats the crack with them then? Can you see 'em under your skin or something?

...Good luck i think. Is it the chinese that put stones and things in and scraps of emeralds...as its meant to protect you from evil spirits. They have them in there forehead, chest mainly though. Am i correct.

D4NS you are rite, JB you can see it slightly but i had them done on a fleshy part so it looks like a bump, it was something different and weird

It looked cool wen it was growing out of your skin but in a completey wincey sort of way - all I could think about is what if u knocked it :yuck: Tis no different than getting a boob job - no implant belongs - but if it's wat u wanna do then

It's strange how some peoples piercings grow out, Mark (koa) has his eyebrows done three times on one side and one on the other. He's had them in for four years and they don't look like they will ever grow out.

How was the ball inserted?

Do you really want to know? Really? Think about it!

Use a scalpel(sp??) to make a cut, stick the ball in and then stitch over it. Simple!lol

Sure I wanted to know. Thanks for the info - I guessed as much but I needed to be sure.

But taking the ring out wasnt as so simple

would you mind explaining the process?
