Re: What's made you grumpy today? (Part II)

Work...seems that whatever I try and do to get things on time, it all goes tits up.

Sunday I was ready to leave 30 minutes early, then just before I left my manager asked me to take another van out as someone wasn't in...it was 45 minutes late already. So I went from being 30 minutes early, to 45 minutes late within seconds.

Then today, got there for 1900. Van was meant to be loaded up ready for me to leave, but it wasn't. I was due out at 1917. I left at 1940.

I had 756kg of shopping, the limit for the vans is 860kg, so very nearly a full load. Houses that I couldn't find, ones that I could find, but impossible to park near, people ordering 13 trays worth and letting their kids unpack it, taking ages!

Sat Nav trying to send me down a road that has a width limit of 6ft...the vans are 8ft 10". Then deciding that it will send me the correct way, a mile away from work...but it sent me 5 miles detour!

Grrr...back in work in 7 hours 55 minutes .

Sounds like these grumps are related - don't cut through the air-con pipework with your Dremel and none of this would have happened!

Hitting a pot hole on the way to work this morning and ruining a tyre.
Plus with my car being low and no where perfectly flat the ****ty jack in the boot wouldn't work so had to pay a £50 callout to get it changed and then couldn't find anywhere that sold part worn tyres so had to buy a new one for £57.

Wheel is fine, new tyre put on and balaced, no vibrations at all but tracking might be out a tiny bit. No idea, only had the car a month.
