Just switched on the news,

R.I.P Gary Speed, such a loss to football,was only on football focus yesterday

No inclination, no suggestion of what was to come hours later, there was obviously something troubling him that he hid well despite things going well on and off the pitch

A model professional throughout his career RIP speedo!

How very sad. But a timely reminder that we can go around with our own problems and think that the other bloke has everything that we don't have. And then something like this happens and we realise that money and fame perhaps aren't everything.
I just hope there isn't some horrible story about to break that ruins a faultless reputation.
