I'm glad I made you smile Jason

I reckon we should repost this in the 500 section, I reckon there'd be some fvcktard there who would probably think it's a great concept.

I do love how this person has such a crappy shopping list. Other than KW and Meguiars, I've never heard of one of those brands. Then again, most reputable brands wouldn't want to be associated with such a silly build.

We should disguise ourselves as European journalists and go to SEMA. See how long it takes before our cover is blown and we're run out of town.

Re: Fiat 500 Sport "Alpha Bravo" Project by TRIBE

given that we are under contract not to reveal the finished product--not to mention that it's still in progress and is not even finished yet--until after SEMA, this is the best we can do. As for the description, it is simply to spark interest in the project, which it did even if the interest was negative, and to give credit to the people who are contributing to the build. This is not a marketing ploy--this is not even an attempted marketing ploy. this post was to let you guys know about a concept/project build we are currently working on for Fiat. They asked us to create a car that was ready for the action-sport enthusiast and we gladly went to work. we figured some of you would be interested in hearing about a Fiat 500 being modified for such the case, so we divulged what information we could.

A picture of the actual car would help immensely...

Without wanting to be rude ... much ... the only people who care about what goes to SEMA, are the people that go to SEMA. If you want to show us what you're up to great, I'm all for that, but f'k this air of secrecy, it's just annoying. Either show us something or don't post at all.

Surely you can at least show us the car as it started?

Re: Fiat 500 Sport "Alpha Bravo" Project by TRIBE

Thanks for posting those videos... but it doesn't really help..... we are Fiat enthusiasts and already know what a 500 looks like

So far I deduced that you've taken delivery of a 500 and used it to take your dog for a drive, then you let your mates use it for jumping over in skateboards.

I just don't get what you've done / doing that hasn't already been done and is worthy of all the effort for the videos and photo shopping and secrecy

am I too old?? have I missed the plot?? I've got more questions that an old person trying to use a smartphone for the first time

Will you be doing this as a one off, will you make the mods available for worldwide shipping, what's the aim of your project, whose funding it, why are you doing it, why a 500. Why does your shopping list in the first post not have any names that anyone has ever heard of before? Are you going to swap body panels to carbon fibre, are you increasing performance......... my head is going to explode

Re: Fiat 500 Sport "Alpha Bravo" Project by TRIBE

essentially, the point of the build is to produce a show car, express our creativity... in that, actually, i see your point... i shouldve waited until we had a finished product to display it... however the point of the post is to discuss the concept of the build and to hear what people think or hear what they would have done to create a Fiat that is ready for the action-sport enthusiast... i now, sadly much later than i would've liked, see that i didnt make that clear enough and that this probably is not the best community within which to discuss such concepts. instead of sparking creativity, ive upset some people and for that, i apologize... i will definitely be more attentive in my future posts... as for the shopping list: the companies named are pretty big stateside and/or are up and coming companies
