I just purchased two!

Possibly a big pricing error ?

E Value Code 101 - D03306

If you "upgrade" the P4 2.8 533mhz fsb to the P4 3.0 800mhz fsb then it DECREASES the price by £94

You also need to change the memory type to DDR400

Reducing the warranty to 1 year gives a price of £177.75

Not the best spec but ideal for the kiddies or word processing or surfing the net.

Yes, TC is my moderate nice guy persona, The Negotiator is my evil alter-ego!

Sorry, I just purchased two and thought I'd share it with you, didn't bother checking to see if my 'friend' had already posted!

lmao Ben! The person who runs MSE is a top bloke....I believe however that the boss of rpoints is in it for the money though.

Anyway, a load of crap gets posted on the sites aswell annoyingly.

Got your PDFs through yet TC?

lol....

Seriously, the bloke (Martin Lewis) runs it literally for one reason; helping people get the best deals. He writes so much of the site content himself in between doing his proper job (journalism). I often used to catch him on 5live on the way home last year (I think, may have been later on in the evening) but never actually went on his site he often refered to. The site is great. For example, it has cheapest flight search which checks flights at lots of budget airlines to save you from looking everywhere and even allows you to search for "flights less than £x" if you're in a "go anywhere mood"

More can be found about him at:

The site has taken off hugely. 5000th largest site in the world it seems to suggest. Sadly a victim of its own sucess, if an offer is posted on it will be gone within minutes. The TV on ebuyer got about 60k views on the thread within a day or so IIRC.

Re: Paul...............................

OK :)

When you buy from dell they don't confirm the purchase until they send you a full PDF - an attachment to an email, like a word file but for adobe.

Until you get that, they can cancel.

Re: Ah..........................

Probably won't come through yet - I think they check all the orders manually, and what with it being a long weekend, probably be some time.

Re: Ah..........................

Up to 2-3 days. Don't worry, they will either send it/phone/email to say there's been a problem.

Dell have honoured a deal like this before but that didn't include a £130+ CPU!

Along with 2000 identical systems! That's the problem with MSE and dell deals....

I believe PDF means you will get it for sure.
