Just watching sky news about the earthquake in Japan and sunami's going to affect japan,hawaii,australia,new zealand and southern america.
Japan has a fire in a nuclear power plant and there's no cooling for it so there may be major problems with that.The earhquake was a 8.9 and the biggest ever recorded there

very scary stuff

on a lighter note and by all means no disrespect to anyone

This is bloody scary stuff.....

they are now evacuating a 12m radius around the power plant from 6m radius earlier.
I think the plant is going to blow.
Although i am new on here i would just like to say that i hope any forum members out there or have friends or family out there are all safe and accounted for.

They're saying on the news that its more like 36 miles

they have just extended it again then.I don't think any distance at the moment will save alot of people if the plant does blow

Well in theory light water plants aren't meant to go boom like an atomic bomb. But who knows.....

The expert on the BBC says that it looks just like a steam explosion which is a "good" thing as it means that the fuel will be getting cooler.
