False Imprisonment?!

False Imprisonment?!

Certainly not a cut and dried case on either side of the argument. While I can understand the business owner feeling he'd been robbed, the same might also be said for the employee who claims he was owed wages.

Whatever the facts of the case are, you cannot ignore due process of law. This guy had not been convicted of anything. To accuse anybody of theft without absolute proof is defamation of character and leaves you open to being sued. The business owner should have been aware of that fact.

Guy seems a bit of an arse. Judging from the photo he has obviously tied him up, before marching him to the police station. I'd have to assume as his employee he would have his bank details and address. So wheres the need to do what he did?

Doesn't say in the article, so does anyone know if charges were pressed for theft?
