Hey,

Anyone know of a good place to buy bass guitar strings on the net? I've always bought them from shops but I was wondering if there were any bargains out there on the net.
Just been on eBay and not much there.

Cheers,

I always get mine from Fox's Music. Their own-brand strings are only about £11 and I get 10% off with my Leeds card. Sorry, that's no help at all is it!

Tried your link brickfoot but they don't have any bass strings. Thanks for all the assistance guys.

Sie, been on Fox's website (found on search engine) and bought a set of their own brand. Hope they are good.

Last time I got some, I tried a new brand to me and I didn't like the sound at all and then last week during a studio session, I snapped my A string so time for a new set methinks!

To be honest mate, all strings are made at the same place. I will admit though, when i bought my current bass, the guy threw in a set of Ernie Ball's. I was impressed with how long they kept their tone for but I still snapped one:rolleyes:

The best ones I have had were D'addario ones. The ones with the nickel (?) centre. They are like rocking horse **** for the bass I found when I lived in the East Midlands. Plenty reguar strings under that brand though. They had that new string sound for ages and even when that stopped, the tonality was really true. They didn't get flat spots quickly either.
