This is what my mums front tyre looks like when it came off and got changed.




Both fronts were the same. Tyres were 18 month old Bridgestones.

If im being honest, stuck my new michelins on about 2 months back, the outsides have worn more than insides, im putting it down to hard cornering, perhaps your mum has a lot of negative camber?

Yea well that tyre went flat when she was on her way to work, luckily she was accelerating from a roundabout and pulled into a laybay quickly and called somone that Audi use out. Limped home on the space saver and got Magnum tyres to come and do it the 2 fronts at the house, the van her tyres were in broke down in Cambridge.

Thats what I was thinking, told her to get it checked out ASAP.

Same Sort of wear is happening to my Mums Citroen Picasso

I think its Negative camber, which is giving rubbish wear as well

Looks like the Outside have gone abit sooner before the middle - so it might suggest underpressured as well

Wear like that doesn't happen overnight. Hopefully your mum will learn from this and not let her put her car on the road in such a downright dangerous and illegal condition.

Thats the inside of the tyre if it makes any difference.

Wouldnt too much negative camber do more damage than too much toe out?

When I first got my car I noticed the fronts were a bit worn on the outside so took the car into national for a new pair of fronts plus tracking.
Only because the bill seemed 'too cheap' did i realise they hadn't tracked it. I'd have been looking at another pair of tyres after a few months.
