Drive into space, metal thing lifts out ground up to "bottom of car" level - and you can't move it again until you've paid at the little machine.

Doesn't need any supervision, so they can use the saved money from hiring the clamping lot to put the machines in - and then maybe lower the prices

They even have little ones for motorbikes

I've always said that I'd do the same, just never had to yet luckily. lol

I always thought there was a market for micro oxyacetylene torches, but now these clampers are illegal, my business model is in tatters.

I took a full blown petrol powered circular saw to one that got me. I did the right thing and rang them to tell them I was cutting it off if someone wasn't there in 5minutes to remove it .

Edit - I'm guessing not as you said you took a full blown petrol powered saw to it lol.

No instead I got a load of bull saying they'd sue me for criminal damage etc etc. I just said see you in court then and powered up the saw .

Mind you to be fair you strike me as someone who would crap themselves and pay the original extortionate fee

Its people like this that desrves community action rewards, making a stand, he knew he would win in the end

Id happily do something like that, get the media involved as well, these cowboy clampers tend to 'refuse to comment' once the media is involved
