ok, for the last week i have been looking for house for 4, myself, my friend and two friends of his. Seen 2 so far, both not very good, spent a lot of hours looking and phoning etc.
This lunch we were planning to see another one this evening, phoned up bitch # 1, she was "busy". Second one I txted, no reply. OK, give them the BOD. Went to see the house, OMG, took my breath away, where do I sign? Showed us two more (same landlady) again - where do I sign?
30 minutes later: "bitch 1 and bitch 2 have made alternative arrangements"
"WHAT THE ****?"
So yeah, these two girls have strung us on for months making us feel happy we had 4 people for a house, not they tell us, after having already spent hours looking and visiting (seen 5 now) that they aren't living with us.
Now I only have 1 housemate (not enough really at all) and had my heart set on a gorgeous house which is cheap, amazing and available. So right now I have nowhere to live next year.
Right now I am seriously in bother
All my other friends/people I would remotely live with are sorted.
FOR ****S SAKE NEVER MESS AROUND PEOPLE ON SOMETHING SO IMPORTANT AND SERIOUS.

Halls only for first years.
Maybe to some it doesn't sound bad but i hardly have a wide friends group, all my friends are sorted, everybody I know at all is already sorted, if not with a house then in groups of people they want to live with. I don't ****ing believe their immaturity.
I mean it's not like messing about somebody about going out tonight or something, it's where we are living next year and not just that, who we are living with.

I've not quite gone for my tea yet. Put your names down for the place and post it up on the uni noticeboard and in the paper that you are looking for housemates. It will all come good .

Helz, that's my current plan. I am worried about signing for it though without knowing the other two people.
that sucks, house hunting isnt fun. been doing it the past few weeks - was going to move into a 5 bedroom place - but one of my mates has a guide dog and another is allergic to dogs.. so that cocked that one up!
