number plates.. wots leagal and wots not?
i saw a car in 'Fast car' mag with the number plate on the sunstrip, is this legal?
also seen one with a plate in the front window is this legal?
and wot about on the front splitter? (which i now have ) (the one i saw had a reflective sticker type plate)
Does anyone know of any websites that can give me this info?

aslong as the lettering is the correct size and spacing, then is could be put anywhere on the car, even on the sunstrip

there was legal number plates with just the lettering, no background, but then it was offered as a show plate only as people got a lot of hassle from police with them

where did you get that info from? ie was it a reliable source?

hummm apparently ya cant have 'football crests'!! but you can have national flags how naff is that!! :tempt:

I thought they changed the rules a couple of years ago and made it very specific for size, font, spacing etc, You also have to have the name of the supplier on the plate as well.

OWW has his plate in the front windscreen, he talked to the copshop and they said it was cool.
