Can a parcel get to me despite a very poor address?

Only time will tell!

I will keep you updated.

Re: Grrrrrrrr...

OK, the challenge is for a parcel to get to me with my name, Manchester Uni, city and postcode. If RM get it to one of the receptions, it should succeed as they will match up against their database.

My normal address is very long and specific so this will be interesting!

Re: Grrrrrrrr...

Err, this is a stupid question, but why didn't you ask the person sending it to use your full address?

Or are you so bored that you're sending stuff to yourself? ;)

Re: Grrrrrrrr...

I gave my penfriend my new address at uni and he sent three letters to "Owes, Loughborough + Postcode". The address was "Towers Hall, Uni + Postcode". They still got through no problem - as postcodes are pretty specific so they guessed what it was supposed to be.

The third one went to Towers after I'd moved out to where I am now, the people there after a week looked up my home address and sent it to my parents, who then forwarded it back up to me - all for the price of one stamp. Our post office is the best in the world, so don't complain!

Re: Grrrrrrrr...

Tashy had to send me a empty juice carton (don't ask) but no way am I giving that girl my address ;)

So it's a challenge!

Richard; I agree in what you say. However, my postcode isn't very specific although saying Manchester Uni might get it to one of the offices on this postcode which may look it up.

Steve; it's a compliment :D

Any reply for Jaffa cakes @ asda?

Re: Grrrrrrrr...

I can assure you that if you give out your name and postcode you can be found no problem!! I don't think supervisors at university halls are very security conscious.

Re: Grrrrrrrr...

We shall see, my mail is useless, usually days delayed, my DVD-rs last week had been opened...

Re: Grrrrrrrr...

Tashy! Not me, I am not crazy enough.

I think the funny thing will be if at the office they are unsure where to send it so they unwrap it...."why is Paul getting a empty juice carton?" hmmm....

No reply? :( From next week I am following up their letter with my further complaints. No OJ this week at asda except the expensive stuff, I am sure they do it on purpose.

You should definitely move into the media, I think you could host your own program for consumers.

So far the items could be:

1. Price Watch - Deals of the day.
2. Supermarket Squeeze - Are the supermarkets putting the squeeze on cheap orange juice.
3. Post Office - Think you can hide, they will find you.

What do you think !!.

Re: Grrrrrrrr...

lol, well my nervousness and lack of confidence infront of people wouldn't help me!

I can see that on digital channel 778312 at 3am (after television Y - a cheaper version of tele X).

paul, I'm getting worried about you... first you're promoting ladies underware (thongs to be precise), and now you aspire to being on late night X rated tv.... Are you doing a degree to forget about those urges to join the adult entertainment fraternity?

Re: Grrrrrrrr...

No it's after a late night and very cheaply made X-rated TV program, my program would be called "Paul's daily tips" and would be like "trade secrets" in it's style although it couldn't compete with the quality!

I didn't hear ANYBODY complaining at getting free knickers ;)

Re: Grrrrrrrr...

The eagle has flown the nest. (That's spy talk for the parcel has been posted)

Stay tuned.
