yea people can be ******s like that...
its always better to travel with a passenger... get up close.. and scrape down the side of their car with something sharp... i have 2 screwdrivers in my car within easy grasp.
or throw a rock or marble at their windscreen... should shatter it well... possibly make them crash with the current weather conditions.
i like that, like it a lot....

a guy i who comes into the gym said he got followed home by a hells angel the other night an he was tryin to pull all that s**t, did the whole pull in front an brake, but the guy hit the bike an nearly knocked him off, so his girl called the police an when the police got there they made them exchange address for the insurance cause my mate buggered this guys bike, so now he has a nutta after him who knows where he lives!

wat an awesome place we live in!

That is very very scary !

Had it done before to me years ago on an unlit dual carriageway. Luckily I wasn't alone but the guy drove ahead, stopped and then stood in the middle of the road shouting and gesturing "come on" !!! Nutter !!!

Glad you survived. I'm with Pete on the advice thing. If you can then just turn away. Life's too short and this **** just isn't worth it !

Having 'given it large' to people driving like this in the past and ended up being threatened with a weapon, I have to side with the guy who said just don't goad them and get out of their way.

There is:

A. Always someone out there bigger and harder than you.
B. Always someone out there with a weapon on them.
C. Always someone out there crazier than you.

If someone drives like a t*sser, I know its tempting to give as good as you get but if you end up starting something, you could have that nutter in your life forever. :(

Having learned my lesson with a freak in a beemer 3 series on the M40, as much as it pains me to say it, I always back down - its not worth it.

I recommend jumping out of the car, spitting on yourself, and then punching yourself in the face really hard. Most road ragers then get a little nervous and jump back in there own car. They must be thinking, "what a nutter, if he's like that with himself, whats he going to be like with me"
always worked for me.

hello pinin prestatyn

In reply to your earlier post yes my hgt has been modded but not by me. I have only recently bought the car from a fiat mechanic who worked in Sittingbourne. I had seen it several times and once it went up for sale I thought I'd ave that and duly paid £4200 for it. All I know is that it has a BMC CDA with silicon pipe for cold air feed, Supersprint manifold, Magnex exhaust from cat back and flash spark plugs - I think he said they were iridium - can't remember. Also he mentioned putting colombo cams in when he replaced the variator when it was only 2 years old which I have just had to do again. It sounds abit tappety but apparently its the cams doing their job!As regards the bhp he said around 160+ maybe more but I haven't had time to rolling road it yet.
He spent a fair bit on the mechanical side but I got it cheap as the mileage is 55k and a few very minor dings in bodywork.
Performance wise it does shift and it does drink too!!. It easily outguns the paxo vts and has kept up wth a couple of civic type r's, couldn't overtake them but they couldn't pull away either- big grin on my face, sour faces on theirs! Has also barely lost out to a clio supersprint 182 but keeps up with the older 172. Also beats 306 gti6 and of course the astra's
It's now going in the shop to get me minor dings sorted out and to try and sort out a nasty creaking from rear suspension area.
When it comes back all gleaming and new I'll take some pics and post them up. Gotta get some new wheels though as he took off the ones he had and put them on his new hgt but that should be it. (y)

Sounds ace mate, you must have fun with it (y)
I can only guess the Gsi was a later model that used the "ecotec" engine, this only packs about 130 BHP and was about a second slower than my old astra, the Red top C20 XE packs 154BHP as standard and weighs the same as a punto. I used to kick HGT's ass with mine, but mine was also a little "fettled" with and producing about 180. ;)

grizzler, was your HGT on Ebay? Is it black? If you've pics in your gallery I ain't looked.

Pinin, your nuts!

Stories like these make me even more tempted for a Hummer H1!

Liam, I know :p

I haven't actually tried my anti-road rage theory yet, but it may well be a fine last resort if some gorilla wants my neck snapped :D
I carry a massive wheel wrench in the car for piece of mind, but It's so big if I bash anyone with it I will deffo be looking at the 187 .

Hi there it's not been on ebay as far as I know - well I hope not!! I bought it just after xmas and it's calypso orange not black. Once it comes back from having the dings and scratches done I will put some pics up but I am after some new wheels either 16's or 17's any ideas anyone? The guy I bought it from took his ones off so it's back on the standard ones at the mo. It has been lowered 40mm all round and not sure what wheel/tyre package to go for. Has michelin pilots sx on the rims at the mo and I find these pretty good but they are wearing down fast he he :D
